While performing, Austin quickly engaged with those who entered the cafe and intermixed pieces that were both thought-provoking and meditative.
His poetry reflected the greats that line the Beekeepers' bookshelves and beautifully complemented the precise atmosphere I have worked so hard to curate. His songs were peaceful and sincere. (Click to see full review)

Austin introduced us to his idea of merging Music, Poetry, and Mindfulness into entertainment for our guests. We loved the idea! He brought great energy and a crowd, a pleasant surprise for our dinner guests. Austin's show was an excellent fit for our atmosphere. We are eager to have him return!

Austin James Haines recently presented his Poetic Mindfulness program at the Haddonfield Public Library. The group of attendees left the workshop with resoundingly positive reviews, many asking when he would be back. Austin was prompt, prepared, and thoroughly communicative with our programming staff. We would be more than happy to host Austin again.

I had the pleasure of having Austin be a part of an Art & Culture program at our nursing care center, combining poetry and music. His original songs are unique and uplifting. Austin is very personable and was very gracious in inviting me to share my poetry during his program. Austin provided a contemplative and reflective activity for our residents to enjoy.

"Austin's book, Flashpoint, isn't just words on a page—it’s a mirror for your soul. It invites you into that moment—the awakening—where you choose either to grow or to stay bound by the past. For me, it stirred something deep inside. It reminded me that the journey inward is not only necessary but sacred. Austin’s writing gave me hope, clarity, and a renewed sense of self. It reminded me that I’m not alone, that I’m not an outcast for craving more meaning, more depth, more soul in this life. Through his words and presence, Austin reminded me of the importance of pouring into your passions, of creating from the heart, and of exploring your unique gifts without apology. The world needs more of what Austin offers—not just his writing, but his presence, his authenticity, and his ability to guide others back to themselves. The Flashpoint is not just a book. It’s a turning point, a catalyst, a calling."

For my grand town-wide party and celebration of our beautiful little town, Haddonfield, I selected several choice musicians to perform some of my favorite pieces—all great music. Among them, I featured local poet Austin James Haines to say a few words about his philosophy of life and to read one of his poems, which I especially like, Memories of Violets. Austin’s reading—music to my ears—came across as effectively as any one of the musical performances, proving once again that music and poetry are one and the same. At the party’s end, guests were quick to tell me how much they enjoyed, especially Austin’s part in the concert. Their comments encourage me to introduce more poetry readings into my concerts, like days of yore when that was a popular thing.

"I felt like something deep inside me was unlocked today. Austin changed my aura!" shared Bob, who came with his wife.
-Bob C. (attended Poetic Mindfulness with his wife and was interviewed afterwards)
"Austin helped liberate a voice today," said an enthralled audience member, Jasmine.

"Austin’s Poetic Mindfulness is a great workshop for promoting self-awareness. He guides participants through poetry, meditation, and music to connect with their inner selves. It is a great retreat for those overwhelmed by the daily routine."

Austin was our guest speaker at The Haddon Fortnightly Women’s Organization in Haddonfield, New Jersey. His singing, poetry, and kind words were so refreshing and meaningful at this time of year. It meant so much to the women in our organization to be able to relax their minds, accept the moment, and dwell in the peacefulness they felt that day. Thank you, Austin, for sharing this great experience.
-Diane Primerano | Haddonfield Fortnightly Leadership
We hosted Austin James Haines at the Pottstown Regional Public Library for a program titled "Mindfulness through Poetry." Austin facilitated the program by alternating between mindfulness techniques and recitations of his poetry in an intimate, conversational manner. He also discussed his writing journey. Our participants seemed to gain a lot of positive insight from attending. Austin was easy to work with, and I would recommend this program to other libraries and similar settings.

The Jump
For 19 years, I navigated the heights of the corporate world, yet I felt a persistent pull toward a deeper resonance. In a defining "Flashpoint" moment, I walked away from that career to find my voice as a motivational speaker and author. I wrote Flashpoint: Manifesting the Moment of Your Big Breakthrough to help others ignite their own shifts, never realizing that my own evolution was only beginning.
The Poet’s Path
In 2022, my journey led me inward. Through the practice of mindfulness, a new form of expression emerged: poetry. What began as a quiet reflection grew into a body of over 75 poems, each one a seed planted in the fertile soil of a newly opened heart. This period of stillness was the necessary "Travel’n Slow" phase that prepared the ground for a miracle I never saw coming.
The Musical Miracle
Though I became a speaker and author, music is the unexpected gift I am most passionate about sharing. It is the vessel, I believe, that most deeply serves others. My musical emergence was a lightning strike of neuroplasticity: I began with a humble Ukulele and, within just one year, transitioned to the British Racing Green Telecaster while writing 12 original songs.
The Lo-Fi Emergence
On March 20, 2026 — the first day of spring — the Season of Becoming goes public. The Lo-Fi Emergence Tour is the live expression of everything that has been quietly growing: the poems, the songs, the stories, the philosophy of radical slowness in a world of digital perfection. From intimate stages in New Jersey to the shores of Daytona Beach — with Texas and the UK on the horizon — the seeds are dispersing.
This is Phase One.
The Invitation
I am Austin James Haines, and I am a living case study for Emergence. I bring my books, my poetry, and my music together to create a sanctuary of healing and high-energy excitement. Step into the expansion for a live experience of ethereal alternative folk and poetic reflection—a sanctuary designed to awaken miracle seeds in you through the sunlight of artistic expression.
